Pedestrian and Traffic Safety
At a community meeting held on January 19th, the Town launched an ongoing effort to improve pedestrian and traffic safety. Director of Public Projects and Services, Ivy Lewis, and Chief of Police Morris facilitated the meeting. Residents were joined by Mayor Thompson, and Council Members Dixon, Faulx, and Lingua. This multi-faceted effort is being built around four core areas of pedestrian and traffic safety. The core areas are Education, Engineering, Environment, and Enforcement.
